Do Cellulite Creams Work to Remove or Reduce Cellulite?

The answer to this question is yes and no. First of all lets go ahead and get it out in the open…there is no way, other than plastic surgery, to “remove” or “cure” cellulite. There I said it, the ugly truth!! Now, there are ways to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Cure it you can’t, but reduce it you can. The idea that a cream can reduce the appearance of cellulite is simply too much for some people to believe. But believe it or not, many women would not be caught bare legged without it!

What many people don’t understand is that cellulite creams have a very specific formula that works by tightening the surface layer of the skin. Not only do they work on the surface of the skin, they penetrate the top layer to work as a diuretic to draw the liquid out of the trapped areas. This tightening and diuretic effect can give the appearance of tighter, more sculpted skin. However, one must realize that cellulite creams are not a miracle cure, it takes time.

Women all over the country are rushing out to their local department stores to buy these cellulite creams, they buy them…with a pessimistic mind, and expect results in two applications. There in lies the problem! Cellulite creams, like other type of creams to reduce the appearance of other problematic issues women face such as stretch marks, take time and patience. In our busy fast paced world this is a rare commodity we have little of. 99% of these creams clearly state that results may be noticed in 4 weeks of continuous use.

One thing the woman, or man, buying the cream needs to be extremely cautious about is the type of cream they buy. Anti-cellulite creams are a dime a dozen, meaning there are countless numbers of products available to the consumer, and all of them make the same or similar claims of greatness. The number one factor that determines your success with a product is the product itself! If you buy a product that has never been tested, or is made by a fly by Night Company, for ten dollars cheaper than the other more popular product, you may be purchasing foot cream in a fancy tube! This will do nothing for, or have no effect on your cellulite.

This is not to say that you must buy the most expensive product on the market, just make sure the product you are buying has many satisfied customers, and not just scorned ones. Essentially deciding which cream to buy is up to you as the consumer, but if you have been using a specific cream for some time and have failed to see results switch brands and give it another try. A good cellulite cream is usually very effective!

Just wanted to ask what makes a good cellulite cream. Are there specific ingredients to look for that would be worth paying a little extra for?

You enlighten my mind if a cellulite cream can really cure cellulite. Now, I know that I can only reduce. Thanks.

Admin – There’s no “cure” just visible reduction using various creams or treatments.. Also look at diet and exercise as well.

best cellulite cream —

Yeah you are right. Most users are expecting visible results after two or three applications. Hopefully this article can help them understand that cellulite creams are not magic creams. The best cellulite cream works when used consistently along with doing exercise, proper diet and living a stress-free life.

I’m looking for somthing that will reduce cellulite and strech marks; is there any product out there that can do both? And if there isn’t, will it still work if I use two different products at the time for each problem? Would I have to apply them at separate times of the day? So confused.

Its unfortunate that there is no cure for cellulite, but its great that there are products out there to help.

the cellulite creams generally help on reducing the cellulite and strengthening the layer of skin which separates the outer layer of skin and the fat storage. The best thing to avoid cellulite is only regular exercise.

I have found one of the best ways to avoid cellulite is by just trying to maintain a little muscle tone. I used to have a lot around my upper thighs, but I started running a few times a week and slowly but surely the muscle tone must have given something for my skin to stretch more tightly around, and the cellulite started to disappear. Of course, I’ve also use creams and stuff to help maintain the look.

Revitol —

Agreed. Cellulite cream and lotions do work. I’ve tried all too many myself.

Good recommendation BTW.

The ingredients that helps fight cellulite are retinol, caffeine, red sea algae (the top ingredients to reduce cellulite) and shea butter, vitamin E, apricot kernel oil and rose hip oil (best for moisturizing and rejuvenating). All these vitamins and antioxidants are good for fighting cellulite. Using a cream like revitol, I have noticed a reduction in stretch marks, fine lines, scars, cellulite and even inches!

To cure cellulite I use revitol combined with a healthy diet and exercise (especially side lunges!!) Sorry no getting out of that! Hope this helps….

I received my results by purely working out. My cellulite was not as bad as some peoples Ive seen but I did have stubborn areas, I just posted my 30 day pictures and excited to see what 60 days has in store for me.

Yeah I think working out in combination with eating healthy food is the best way to get rid of cellulite… And maybe testing some creams :)

Thanks for the practical advice on cellulite creams. This sort of solution definitely takes time and won’t work overnight. It helps to have realistic expectations, so thanks for setting them out. With that said, it’s encouraging to know that some of these products really do work.

I am posting this comment to make sure it gets posted because I want to know that these comments are universal not just trash put on by the site. If this does however go on then you will definitely have a buyer because i have been looking for a way how to get rid of cellulite.

I agree with your “yes” and “no” answer. A cream does not actually reduce the cellulite but does help to improve the appearance of the skin. Surgery seems a drastic action these days when there are alternative remedies available which are not invasive… ie: a combination of deep massage, exercise and diet.

Me too I agree that the answer is “YES” and “NO”, cause based on my information that I know that following a routine that includes a healthy diet and regular exercise will help you to regain the size and shape you had prior to the onset of cellulite accumulation. Some people report that they have had much success with massage as a way of reducing cellulite.Reducing cellulite is a rather gradual process, depending upon the person’s heredity, eating habits, lifestyle, metabolism etc. Exercise can speed up cellulite reduction.

Im also in the camp of yes and no. So many factors play are role in cellulite and due to bodies being bodies then some respond in different ways to different treatments. my advice is to try one and see. If it doesn,t work then no real harm done.

I swear by Vichy, and there are so many products out there. You need to tackle the problem in other ways too. Drinking lemon water, I’ve heard, it really good for cellulite.
